Abstract
Possible molecular states in the hidden charm and bottom sector are discussed in a constituent quark model description. The X(3872) resonance is described as a dynamically generated DD∗ molecule coupled to a cc¯(23P1) state, and its decay modes are calculated. We also obtain in the D∗D∗ JPC = 1−− channel a bound state that can be identified with the Y(4008) charmonium state.
