A changing world

Abstract

This article is one in a series on unpaid helpers and their work published in association with the King's Fund under the overall title of 'the volunteer in society'. It shows how the pattern of the voluntary service provided by the St. John ambulance association is changing to meet the needs of an everchanging world.
