Abstract

The Bigeye Scad is one of the small pelagic fish catch on landing caught on land at the Tasikagung Coastal Fishing Port Beach Fishing Port. The fishing gear used is a small purse seine mini purse seine. The Tasikagung Coastal Fishing Port is the landing place for fish catch fish caught by fishermen from the Java Sea. It is feared that the use of fish resources will lead to a decline in population. The importance of the knowledge of fish biology in Selar Bentong for assessing aquatic stocks. This study aims to determine the size structure, the relationship of length weight, condition factors, Gonad maturity level, Lm50% and Lc50% of Selar Bentong fish. The research was conducted in September-November 2020 and sampling was once a month at the Tasikagung Coastal Fishery Port, Rembang. The research method used the survey method. The data collected were fish length (mmTL), fish weight (gr) and gonads. The results showed that the length range of fish was 150-250 mmTL. The long relationship of fish weight is positive allometric with a condition factor of 1.08. TKG of male fish is dominant at TKG III and female fish TKG IV. The size of the first time caught (Lc50%) was 202 mmTL smaller than the Lm50% of 205 mmTL female fish (Lc50%
