Abstract

Tutoring plays an important role in the development of children's learning, because indirectly learning outside of school has a considerable impact and influences student learning motivation. With the existence of a tutoring program that focuses on Literacy & Numeracy, it is hoped that it can increase students' interest and interest in learning and motivate students to be aware of the importance of education in the future. So that the existence of a potential-based community service program (PMBP) will increase opportunities for us students of Ikip Budi Utomo Malang in the field of education by holding a Literacy & Numeracy-based tutoring program that aims to increase student interest and motivation in learning. In this community service research, our focus is on Jatisari village children. with the research method that is descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the research after carrying out an analysis of the evaluation of activities, the tutoring activity program has a very significant impact such as increasing understanding of learning, children are more active and creative in discussing and asking questions and increasing interest in participating in tutoring activities based on Literacy & Numeracy.
