The over-education or decommissioning of a workforce increasingly educated is a social phenomenon that has attracted the various branches of research in social sciences. This paper attempts to analyze the determining factors of over-education. The results of our research show that women are more affected by over-education, social background plays an important role, the big duration in the queue pushes the graduates to accept a position of lesser qualification, and License holders of higher education are the least affected by the phenomenon.
