Abstract

Positive indications of anaerobic bacterial activity (sulfate reduction, acetate oxidation, and methanogenesis) were found in sediments recovered from maximum sub-bottom depths of 46.1 m at Site 612 and 134.6 m at Site 613.-from Authors
