Vorstellung: a questão da representabilidade

Abstract

A clínica psicanalítica atual exige que sejam levadas em consideração as patologias que denunciam o predomínio de conteúdos psíquicos que escapam ao universo representacional do sujeito. Por meio de uma reflexão teórica a respeito do conceito Freudiano de Vorstellung e de suas implicações na técnica psicanalítica, este artigo aborda a temática da representabilidade e irrepresentabilidade dos conteúdos psíquicos. O analista necessita ir além de seus recursos de interpretação, pois, frente a determinados pacientes com os quais se depara, deve repensar e ampliar os recursos técnicos. Aborda-se o tema da Vorstellung em relação à clínica com pacientes que padecem da capacidade de atribuição de sentido ao que os atordoa.The current psychoanalytic clinic requires that one takes into account the pathologies that show the prevalence of psychic contents, which do not belong to the representational universe of the subject. Through a theoretical reflection upon the Freudian Vorstellung concept and its implications on the psychoanalytic technique, this article aims to approach the theme of the representability and the unrepresentability of psychic contents. Thus, it is necessary for the analyst to go beyond his interpretation resources, rethinking and broadening the technical resources. The Vorstellung theme is approached in relation to the treatment of patients who suffer from the lack of skills to attribute meaning to what hurts them emotionally.
