Africanidades e diversidades no ensino de História: entre saberes e práticas

Abstract

RESUMO Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir o uso das africanidades na educação escolar, em particular o uso das representações de divindades cultuadas no estado do Rio Grande do Sul e a sua possível semelhança funcional na prática de ensino com os mitos gregos. Outro objetivo da narrativa é demonstrar os desafios para o ensino da diversidade e das relações étnico-raciais no Brasil, bem como avaliar um plano de aula da disciplina de História realizada em uma escola pública na cidade de Porto Alegre, capital do Estado. A fim de interpretar os resultados da proposta de aula, foram analisados os relatórios produzidos pelos próprios alunos. Por meio do método de análise de conteúdo proposto por Bardin (2009), nos seus aspectos qualitativos, e tendo como corpus documental os registros dos alunos, verificou-se o interesse e a motivação por parte dos alunos das sete turmas envolvidas na atividade.ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss the use of Africanity in school education. In particular the use of deities representations, which are worshiped in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, and its possible functional similarity in the teaching practice with the Greek myths. Another objective of the narrative is to demonstrate the challenges for teaching diversity and ethnic-racial relations in Brazil as well as to evaluate a lesson plan of the History discipline held in a public high school in the city of Porto Alegre, the capital city of the State. In order to interpret the results of the lesson proposal, the reports produced by the students themselves were analyzed. By means of the method of content analysis proposed by Bardin (2009) in its qualitative aspects, having as documentary corpus the students’ records, we observed the interest and the motivation on the part of the students of the seven classes involved in the activity.
