Abstract

A new genus and species, Lobotarsonemus betulae n. gen., n. sp. (Acari: Tarsonemidae), is described based on phoretic females collected under the hemielytra of the aradid bug Aradus betulae (Linnaeus, 1758) (Heteroptera: Aradidae) in European Russia.
