Abstract
Background: Weighing Accept is a way to convey information to patients which includes about the patient's condition from the previous nurse to the nurse who will continue the nursing action. Communication in the weigh-in has an important role in conveying various patient information, which should be carried out in accordance with the applicable SPO at every shift change, because the SPO can support no misconduct or neglect an action that could put patient safety at risk. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between the implementation of weigh-acceptance and patient safety in the inpatient room of the Ajibarang Regional General Hospital. Research Methods: This type of quantitative research uses descriptive analytic design using cross sectional method. The population in this study amounted to 50 respondents. The sampling technique was proportional stratified random sampling, data collection used a questionnaire, data analysis used the Chi-square test. Results: The results of the study were 27 respondents aged 26-35 years, 28 female respondents, 31 D3 educated respondents. There is a relationship between the implementation of weigh accept and patient safety, the p-value is obtained = 0.000. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the implementation of weigh acceptance and patient safety in the inpatient room of Ajibarang Hospital.
