Abstract

In the inclusion school of Alam Muhammadiyah Surya Mentari Kindergarten, there has never been a fine motor measurement for children with special needs. Therefore, it is very important to do, because it is very much needed by children with special needs to get special attention and services, and besides that, educators, especially adaptive physical education teachers, must know firsthand the physical condition of students. This study aims to determine how good the fine motor skills of children with special needs in Kindergarten Alam Muhammadiyah Surya Mentari, Laweyan District, Surakarta. This research method is descriptive. The population used is 10 children with special needs in Alam Muhammadiyah Surya Mentari Kindergarten. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The instrument used to measure the fine motor skills of children with special needs is an observation sheet. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage. The results of the study on the fine motor skills of children with special needs at the Alam Muhammadiyah Surya Mentari Kindergarten, Laweyan District, Surakarta were in the category of "Very Good Development (BSB)" of 0.00% (0 children), "Developing according to expectations (BSH)" of 20.00 % (2 children), "Starting to Develop (MB)" by 60.00% (6 children), and "Not Developing (BB)" by 20.00% (2 children). It can be concluded that the fine motor skills of children with special needs in the Alam Muhammadiyah Surya Mentari Kindergarten, Laweyan District, Surakarta are in the "Developing According to Expectations (BSH)" category. This is corroborated from the results of the analysis of the percentage of 60%, which is at an interval of 51%-75% (Yoni, 2010).
