Abstract
In general, the job field requires a scientific field specification and a GPA. Data used based on tracer study data in 2019. This paper discusses the relationship between GPA and the suitability of education level and the field of study in alumni work. More than 52% of respondents of each faculty stated that the fields of study they were pursuing at the undergraduate level had a fairly close, even very close, relationship with their field of work. More than 89% of respondents from each faculty stated that the level of education that best suits their job is at the same level. Based on the chi square test, in the respondent data matrix of all faculties, there is no relationship between GPA and the level of education that is the most appropriate in the field of work. Only for the Faculty of Engineering respondents, there is a relationship between GPA and closeness of the field of study in the job. The majority of respondents' perceptions of the level of education and also the closeness of the fields of study required for their work were not related to the GPA. @2021 Published by UP2M, Faculty
