The author briefly describes the traits common to engineers and entrepreneurs and then discusses various IEEE-USA programs to help its members. An Entrepreneurs Activities Committee and an Entrepreneurs Village have been created. The members of the committee are all IEEE Members. They are seasoned and experienced entrepreneurs with highly successful records of accomplishment. Many of them have met, conferred with, and worked with federal and state government representatives, including members and staff of Congress and the White House. Other resources available are also described. © 2013 IEEE.
