Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Brazilian scientific production. This is a bibliographic review. It was found that the government is investing in universities and funding agencies in order to assist in scientific production, aiming to become a reference worldwide. The recognition of the research will occur-through scientific publication in recognized journals and classified by their quality. We conclude that the country has achieved a breakthrough in the scenario of global scientific production, however, is unsatisfactory transformation of these scientific studies to benefit the development of the country.
