Abstract

Computer-aided conformational analysis and design of key intermediates in the stereoselective and efficient synthesis of macrolides were successfully applied to synthetic studies of 1) erythronolide A, 2) carbonolides, leuconolides and maridonolides, 3) halichondrin B, and 4) tedanolide. © 1994, The Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan.
