Abstract

A simple, efficient and mild method for the selective cleavage of tert-butoxycarbonyl (Boc) from dicarbamates and a carbonyl or aromatic ring in conjugation with the nitrogen atom bearing the Boc-group is described under basic condition. © ARKAT.
