Abstract
We present an exact solution in three-dimensional topologically massive gravity with a negative cosmological constant, which dynamically interpolates between a past horizon and a chiral anti-de Sitter pp wave. Similarly, upon time reversal, one obtains an anti-de Sitter pp wave with a future event horizon. © 2013 American Physical Society.
