Abstract
In article number 1900148, Liang Zhang, Yanguang Li and co‐workers review the recent progress in using in‐situ/operando synchrotron‐based techniques including X‐ray absorption spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and X‐ray microscopy for improving the mechanistic understanding of Li–S batteries. The authors aim to provide some useful guidance for the rational design of sulfur electrode materials and accelerate the commercialization of Li–S batteries.
