The research results indicate that the appropriate learning model for introducing folktales to Learning Indonesian as a Foreign Language students is the receptive and productive models, which can be applied to improve the four language skills. The four language skills include listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The receptive learning model consists of the interest stage, enjoyment stage, and response stage. The productive learning model consists of writing stories, writing simple drama script, and roleplaying.
