PERAN PEREMPUAN DALAM KONTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN RUMAH TANGGA PETANI JAGUNG DI KECAMATAN DULUPI KABUPATEN BOALEMO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of women in increasing household corn income in Dulupi District, Boalemo Regency. The research approach is Mix Method The Explanatory Sequential Design, which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The population of 527 people with the slovin formula obtained a sample of 41 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses revenue analysis, contributions and a qualitative model of Miles & Huberman. The results of this study indicate that farmers contribute to the income of women (wives) to the household income of corn farming in Dulupi District. The results show that the average contribution of women's income is 39.24% which is in a fairly good criterion. Then when viewed based on the type of work of women (wives) of corn farmers in Dulupi District, the results showed that for women with civil servant jobs they had an income contribution of 52.25% which was in very good criteria, then for jobs as traders had a contribution of income of 31, 95% who are in sufficient criteria and for women who work as household workers and are active in farming have an income contribution of 31.99% which is in a fairly good criterion. This shows that women with productive roles as well as good social roles will tend to have a large income contribution in household income.
