COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREM IN PROBABILISTIC METRIC SPACE

Abstract

The notion of weakly compatible maps introduced by Singh and Jain[A fixed point theorem in Menger space through weak compatibility, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 301 (2) (2005), 439{448] in Menger spaces. In this paper, we prove a common ¯xed point theorem for weakly compatible maps in Menger space without appeal to continuity.
