A MODERNIZAÇÃO DA AGRICULTURA NO BRASIL E OS NOVOS USOS DO TERRITÓRIO

Abstract

Brazilian agrarian space in the last fifty years, has undergone several metamorphoses, with significant effects on their functions and contents.These changes are linked to the modernization project of the territory, more specifically to the modernization of the farming productive structure, which triggered an unequal process of expansion of capital between farmers and regions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the territorialization of modern agriculture in Brazil, seeking to highlight the role of the state and private capital in the consolidation of this process and consequently the new uses of the territory.
