Abstract

In order to research the influence of engine speed on HCCI combustion, the experiment was conducted in a retrofitted engine to realize HCCI combustion mode. The results indicated that engine speed has a weak influence on combustion phase. But with the increase of engine speed, two-stage heat release is so noticeable and the low-temperature oxidation process goes well. © the authors.
