The main objective is to analyze the social vulnerability of Venezuelan women living with HIV (WLV) and its impact on the exercise of their human rights, mainly the right to health. For this, an exploratory, phenomenological, descriptive and analytical study was proposed. It started from the methodological triangulation that combined a quantitative cut design, which consisted in the application of a survey to 225 WLV to carry out a social characterization, and a qualitative cut design was also conducted, which was based on semi-structured interviews carried out with eleven WLV to learn about their experiences. For the analysis, three categories were defined: socioeconomic conditions, family dynamics and access to information. As a result, it was shown that the exercise of the right to health of the WLV is affected by the shortage of material conditions, since a significant percentage of women are poor due to the lack of information for prevention, care and treatment, all of which contribute to their social vulnerability. It is required a women-centered care approach which recognizes the structural barriers that women experience, in particular, the poverty.
