Abstract
The article reports the key messages from the confidential enquiries on maternal death and morbidity in Great Britain and Ireland as of 2015. Topics include reviews of deaths from mental health related causes, prevention and treatment of thrombosis and thromboembolism and messages regarding homicide and domestic abuse. Also, facts regarding cancer and late deaths after pregnancy and caring for women with cancer in pregnancy or postpartum have been discussed.
