Abstract

Abstract In article number 1801381, Qian Yu and co‐workers summarize the recent development of three types of responsive and synergistic antibacterial coatings, including self‐defensive antibacterial coatings that are responsive to the bacterial microenvironment, synergetic antibacterial coatings that possess two or more killing mechanisms which interact synergistically, and smart “kill‐and‐release” antibacterial coatings that have triggered‐cleaning capability.
