Abstract

Learning styles allow the generation of skills and habits in the student so that knowledge is channeled according to their cognitive preferences, personal strengths and ways of processing information, thus optimizing its understanding and application in various contexts. In this work, the learning style of a group of 30 young people has been evaluated, in order to relate it to academic achievements and verify if there is any relationship for learning in the area of mathematics. The main results showed that, for the study of mathematics, the reflective style is the one that provides the best results, and the others, although they achieve the same good achievements, are not as high as the reflective style.
