It tries to approach Pastoral Psychology from Isidor Baumgartner's proposal. Based on that discipline, it develops a theoretical framework, and adopts Baumgartner's main ideas and his method. The text ends with the appropriation of the author's thought, reassuming two strong topics of his approach: the saving power that arises from bringing together personal history and the Lord's history, and the ability of symbols to transform spiritual experience.
