Double-sided Si strip sensors for LEP vertex detectors

Abstract

Technology aspects in the production of double-sided Si strip sensors which arise from the physics requirements in vertex detector systems in the four big LEP experiments are discussed. Some recent experimental results relating to the spatial resolution. which can be obtained with these sensors, are presented for a variety of technologies which have recently been developed. © 1994.
