Abstract

This reader, together with two other geography texts and two generic texts, provide in-depth discussion to the subject matter covered in the on-line modules which are the 'teaching blocks' of the Open University flexible PGCE course. The reader forms a useful collection of up-to-date articles, written by the most prominent teachers and teacher educators in the UK today and will be valuable to trainee teachers on any Geography PGCE course.
