ANALISA KOMPARASI TEKNIK REDUKSI NOISE PADA CITRA

Abstract

Noise reduction techniques are included in one part of image enhancement, which is basically used to reduce and eliminate noise in an image. Noise is the problems that causes a decrease in image quality. At present there are several noise reduction techniques that have advantages and disadvantages of each. in getting a reduction technique that has good performance in reducing and eliminating noise is a big challenge for researchers. The purpose of this study is to find a reduction technique that has a good level of performance to reduce noise in the image. In this study the reduction technique used is the mean filter technique and median filter technique, where the results of the noise reduction process from the two techniques will be compared based on the calculation results of the Mean Square Error (MSE) to determine the performance of the two techniques. The testing process in this study using applications designed using matlab programming language.
