Abstract

Transcranial ultrasonic diagnostic equipment has been approved to enhance the thrombolytic effect of IVrt-PA. Moreover, transcranial sonothrombolysis with low frequency ultrasound has a great advantage in lytic effect of IVrt-PA. It is remarkable to choose a optimal ultrasonic condition for transcranial son othrombo lysis. We are developing a new transcranial targeting Low Frequency Ultrasonic Thrombolysis system (TCT-LoFUT). This system is anticipated to be a useful therapeutic equipment to realize a early re canalization in the acute ischemic stroke treatment.
