Abstract
To determine the parameters significantly influencing the results of car-pedestrian crash accident reconstruction, a car-pedestrian collision model is built based on dynamics analysis, and a number of general sensitive parameters affecting accident reconstruction results are selected. Next, single factor test is conducted on general sensitive parameters to further choose the sensitive parameters having significant effects on reconstruction results, which are then sorted according to their magnitude of sensibility by using multi-factor analysis technique. Taking the results as reference, the reconstruction simulation is performed on a real car-pedestrian crash accident with a result well agrees with real situation. Finally it is indicated that the parameters of car speed before crash, driver's response time, deceleration, car turning angle and contact position have significant effects on reconstruction results and targetedly adjusting these parameters can enhance the accuracy of accident reconstruction.
