Pengaruh PDRB, Upah Minimum Provinsi dan Pengeluaran Pemerintah Terhadap Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja di Provinsi Jambi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of GRDP, Provincial Minimum Wage, government expenditure on employment in Jambi Province during the period of 1997-2015. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The results of this study found that simultaneously GRDP, provincial minimum wage, government expenditure has a significant effect on the employment in Jambi Province. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that the independent variables studied are able to explain 91 percent of the employment and the remaining 9 percent are explained by other variables that are not examined. Partially PDRB significantly influence the employment in Jambi Province. While the Provincial Minimum Wage and Government expenditure did not affect the employment in Jambi Province. Keywords: Employment, GRDP, Wage, Government  Expenditure Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh PDRB, Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP), pengeluaran pemerintah terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jambi selama kurun waktu 1997-2015. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara simultan PDRB, UMP, Pengeluaran Pemerintah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jambi periode 1997 – 2015. Koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukan bahwa variabel bebas yang diteliti mampu menjelaskan 91 persen terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja dan sisanya 9 persen dijelaskan oleh variabel lainnya  yang tidak diteliti. Secara parsial PDRB berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja di Provinsi Jambi, sedangkan UMP dan pengeluaran pemerintah tidak berpengaruh signifikan.
