Abstract

The problem of aligning the strategy of an enterprise and supporting IT resources has been recognized since decades. In this paper we revise a model - The Business Behavior Model (BBM) - which is envisioned to help in the alignment between the goal layer and the business layer of an enterprise. A number of problems are identified in the original BBM and solutions for those problems are proposed. A short illustrative case is provided that shows the applicability of the revised BBM. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
