Abstract

An evaluation of the application of the newly recommended higher bolt shear and bearing stresses was made with several tests of bolted double-angle beam connections, with top flanges both coped and uncoped. The findings are summarized. The test results focus on the behavior of only one connection with two detailing alternatives (coped and uncoped).
