Present status and development suggestions of carbon emission permit trading

Abstract

As one of the effective measures for reducing the greenhouse gas emissions, the carbon emission permit trading has drawn more and more attentions from all countries worldwide and made significant development. The emergence and development of carbon emission permit trading is reviewed in this paper, and the conditions of international carbon emission permit trading are demonstrated. The present status of China's carbon emission permit trading is analysed, and the development suggestions regarding the construction of China's carbon emission permit trading market is provided.
