Correction to: Assessment of water, sanitation, and hygiene target and theoretical modeling to determine sanitation success in sub-Saharan Africa (Environment, Development and Sustainability, (2023), 25, 11, (13353-13377), 10.1007/s10668-022-02620-z)

Abstract

As the paper above appeared first online, we have noticed some small typos and mistakes that we are correcting here. In Fig. 1, the reference (Mzuza et al., 2019) is (Ahmed et. al., 2021) Where are mines located in sub-Saharan Africa and how have they expanded overtime, Vol. 32 (1), 112–122. Above Fig. 2, the parameter lambda λ = 2 should be Λ = 2. Under the section population growth and prediction “For moderately developing poor countries (Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria) (Fig. 2b)”, should be (Fig. 3b). The absolutely poor population countries (Burundi, Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Malawi) and the poor countries increase in similar directions from 2015 to 2020, there is (Fig. 3c) was omitted. Figure 3c shows the same steady increase from 2015 to 2020 and was projected for 2030 (Fig. 3c should be Fig. 3a). Under Fig. 3, Fig. 2a is Fig. 3a; Fig. 2b is Fig. 3b and Fig. 2c is Fig. 3c. Finally in Table 1, 0,999652 is 0,999652, 0,999,414 is 0,999414 and 0,999,542 is 0,999542. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused readers.
