Abstract

Ultrashort intense laser pulses have been used to initiate and image a dissociating D+2nuclear wavepacket. Using a pump probe technique, the temporal evolution of the dissociation process has been observed as well as interferometric effects and signatures of bound wavepacket motion. © 2007 IOP Publishing Ltd.
