Abstract

The concept of green building helps reduce the effects of global warming, and the availability of long-term natural resources and increases the service life of buildings as well as the use of Greenship as a rating system for its achievement. The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing role of digital have made people no longer work in offices but have moved to cafes so that more and more cafes have switched or added functions to become cafes and co-working spaces, resulting in the need for adjustments to the construction and interior of buildings as well as additional services. To attract more visitors, a unique concept of transformation of local culture is needed. Local culture is born from local wisdom and in harmony with nature. This touch of local wisdom values can enhance the image. Local cultural potential in the form of Sasak bale architecture can be represented in the construction and interior of cafes and co-working spaces and utilizes local materials. This is in line with the initial goal of implementing green buildings in cafes and co-working spaces that are modern and minimalist but have local wisdom values. This design is a way of preserving local culture.
