Abstract

(Figure Presented) A cauliflowerlike surface (see picture, scale bar: 8 μm) and perfluorocarbon chains on the polymer backbone result in super water and oil repellency of a film of the fluorinated polythiophene shown that was electrochemically deposited on an indium tin oxide surface. The inset shows a camera image of a water droplet on the surface (contact angle > 150°). © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
