Abstract
ABSTRACT Cassava is an agricultural product that has considerable potential to be developed because it has many benefits and is economically capable of alleviating rural poverty and increasing the national economy. Processing cassava into cassava chips is an attempt to generate added economic value and overcome the perishability of the product when it is in fresh form. The purpose of this study was to analyze the profitability and added value of processed cassava products in Sesaot Village, Narmada District. The research method used is descriptive. The research location is in Sesaot Village, Narmada District, by establishing UD Waroh Maju Bersama as the unit of analysis and research respondents. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the cassava chips agroindustry at “UD Waroh Maju Bersama” in Sesaot Village is feasible to develop. This is shown by the rate of return on investment and the added value generated by the cassava chips agro-industry, which is very high, namely 78% and 79.30% respectively and is able to provides profits for entrepreneurs of IDR 15,865 for every kilogram of cassava chips
