Abstract

This paper emphasizes on a FPGA Implementation of Fuzzy PD&PID Controller in biomedical application. A novel approach aims to identify and design a simple robust Fuzzy PD&PID Controller system with minimum number of fuzzy rules for the diabetic patients as a single injection process through the blood glucose level from Photo plethysmogram is discussed. VLSI system is simulated and analyzed then FPGA system is synthesized and implemented using VHDL.A simulation of VLSI design of the above automatic controller is analyzed. In this process insulin is administrated through an infusion pump as a single injection. The pump is controlled by the automatic control Fuzzy PD Controller which is more efficient compared to the conventional PD Controller.
