Abstract

The objective of this presentation is to explore the role of training in helping U. S. manufacturers boost productivity and regain a worldwide competitive advantage. The author addresses the increased need for training as we move into the factory of the future, and discusses innovative delivery systems for training when they are needed, and where they are necessary.
