3-(4-Chlorophenyl)-1-(2-methyl-4-phenylquinolin-3-yl)prop-2-en-1-one

Abstract

The crystal structure of the title compound, C25H 18ClNO, shows that the molecules are isolated and not involved in intermolecular C - H⋯O or C - H⋯Cl interactions. However, the phenyl and quinoline rings are involved in π-π interactions [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8829 (9) Å].
