Abstract

The pollen of several species of the genera Bagassa, Batocarpus, Broussonetia, Cardiogyne, Chlorophora, Madura, Cudrania and Plecospermum have been studied. These genera form a »cluster» in the tribe Moreae and pollenmorphological data confirm the taxonomic suggestion that the genera are more or less related. However, pollen grains of Maclura pomifera differ largely whereas those of Maclura brasiliensis agree with the genera] description of the other pollen grains. © 1982 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
