Abstract
Many authors have proposed categorizations for approaches to knowledge management ‒KM‒; outstanding prospects including functionalist and interpretive. In the first, knowledge is considered a “static object” that exists in a number of ways and locations; in the second, that knowledge does not exist independently of human experience, social practice, knowledge itself and use it where it is shaped by social practices of communities, because it is “dynamic and active”. This article, an extensive review of the subject, focuses on reviewing, analyzing and presenting a study of the interpretive perspective, and describe a maturity model for knowledge management operational from it.
