Abstract
BACKGROUND Early microbiological examination and treatment of corneal ulcer will prevent further permanent ocular damage in the form of loss of vision and other abnormalities. Aim is to study the common predisposing factors, isolate and identify the bacteria and fungi responsible for the corneal ulcer, and the drug sensitivity pattern of isolated bacteria to the commonly used antibiotics in a tertiary care hospital.
