Abstract
In view of free trade and the relentless challenges of the global economy, it has become interesting to gain insight on the constitutional foundations of the trade-union laws on the Mexican legal system. Hence, the protective and vindicatory essence of its social principles is analyzed regarding particularly its three key figures: the right to unionization, the professional negotiation and of course, the strike. In this sense it is discussed, that based on our constitutional principles, the neo-liberal hype, and the monetarist contra revolution have been factors fueling, as curios paradox, the solidarity awareness of workers, unity of articulated action and union resistance.
