This paper presents a distillation of the authors' current views concerning the optimal management of Hodgkin's disease in relation to site(s) and stage of disease, constitutional symptoms, histopathology, and prior treatment, based on experience with a series of controlled clinical trials under way at Stanford University Medical Center since 1962.
